This chart comes from a post I did for the 2012 Calendar. The info comes from Time and Date, an interesting site dedicated to, well, you know, the time and the date.
Current Year | Old Matching Calendar Years |
2012 | 1928, 1956, 1984 (Leap Year) |
2013 | 1985, 1991, 2002 |
2014 | 1986, 1997, 2003 |
2015 | 1987, 1998, 2009 |
2016 | 1932, 1960, 1988 (Leap Year) |
2017 | 1989, 1995, 2006 |
Fun post! Thanks to my mom, I've been using a 1973/74 date book for the currently concluding academic year. At first I thought she was nuts but now I love both the anti-consumerism and the cyclicality it represents. Come August I'll switch to a 1991-92 date book, which will remain accurate thru 28 Feb. By then I'll have to invest in a boring old 2014 date book -- but at least not before they've gone on sale.
ReplyDeleteAnd your comment is appreciated too. And remember, for 2014 you can use these old calendars: 1986, 1997, 2003
ReplyDeleteSurely you can find a 2003 calendar somewhere.
Recycle, recycle, recycle!!
