July 30, 2015:  Board of Regents Appoint Jim Johnsen To Be President Of The University of Alaska - this post quotes part of the official announcement and links to the rest.  It also posts the job description, highlighting what the Board was looking for and asks how they will set up metrics to determine his bonus each year.  It also looks at the standards for faculty merit bonuses.

July 6, 2015:  U of A Presidential Search 3:  Resume Padding -Or- When Is A Publication A Publication?  - This posts looks at the three documents listed under 'Selected Publications' on finalist Jim Johnsen's resume and finds them to not be publications.  It goes on to answer the question "does this matter?" in relation to publications and resume padding.

March 4, 2010:  Report Says Sexual Assualt Increased While Gamble was Air Force Academy Commandant- Looks at the timing of Gen. Gamble's tenure as head of the Air Force Academy and the studies of sexual abuse there.  Also has update on Inspector General's report saying Gamble was not at fault.

Focuses on one candidate and what I could find online.  Has links to profiles and vitas of all three candidates.  But the links no longer work.  Even google's cache finder couldn't locate them.
