[Just starting this page, will get more introductory info up soon. As we go on, I'll try to alert readers to films coming up.]
Festival is Friday Dec. 6, 2024 - Sunday Dec. 15, 2024. (Yes, I see that the poster says Dec. 6-14, but the website shows a final movie on the Bear Tooth which is already sold out. I had the 14th down as the last day as well. They must have added that on, more recently.)
Here's a link to the festival website.
Note: Awards Ceremony at 8:30pm Saturday Dec. 14, 2024 at Alaska Experience Theater

Thursday, December 05, 2024: AIFF 2024 - Saturday Dec 7 Schedule - A guide to the Saturday program at the Anchorage International Film Festival. The Champions of Golden Valley is sold out at the Bear Tooth already on Thursday, and there were only balcony seats left for Unearth. But I think the film to see Saturday is Porcelain War, at the Museum at 6pm, about artists fighting the Ukraine war with sculpture and paint. Also Utimate Citizens, at 10am at the Museum looks good. Detrascriptions, pictures, and some trailers for the feature length films.
Monday, December 02, 2024: No All Film Passes at 2024 Anchorage International Film Festival (AIFF2024) And Other Issues - There have been changes to the festival and the websites this year that make it harder to a) go to the festival for people who bought all film passes in the past and b) make it harder to learn about the various films. I explain that in this post.
