But just like real snow, metaphorical snow starts to show through as people test it.
And with just a little bit of heat, it turns to slush.
And then liquid.
And what it was trying to conceal becomes visible again.

Beautiful stuff -- quite magical -- but "it will not lay" as they say in Canada. We had our "last" snow last week. We always anticipate Spring and always get a little more winter. The weather gods keep us humble.
