"30 more cases and we'll be at 400 total. If we keep the pace of the last week, we'll reach that number in seven days."
Well, we didn't keep the same pace. We've had 3 or fewer new cases for 10 days now, despite the governor and mayor loosening the terms of self-isolation. However, the chart in the Tweet below suggests that people are not rushing out into the newly opened businesses.
Traffic in work places is still low and has not really changed since the announcement of re-opening pic.twitter.com/z1aQId68Ff— Mouhcine Guettabi (@MGuettabi) May 11, 2020
I can't find the exact same charts Mouhcine is using, but here similar information from Google Mobility Reports for Alaska (including charts for Anchorage, Fairbanks, and other locations.) The only area that has seen an increase is Parks.
This reluctance to test the coronavirus waters might explain why our numbers have stayed low despite the State officially opening up places of business. It takes a couple of weeks for new infections to show up in the stats.

Alaska Covid-19 Data NewFor... by Steve on Scribd
I'd note that the State has forgotten today, and on other occasions to change the date on their reports. This is just a note. I understand all to well how easy it is to forget a detail like that. No one is immune.
