I'd like to note here that AIFF 2013 Best Animation winner - Mr. Hublot - won the Academy Award for best animation.

  • AIFF 2013: Choosing From So Many Good Options Friday -  An overview of Friday offerings with a list of films I've seen that I liked a lot.  But basically throwing up my hands at all the choices and leaving it up to readers.  List of the whole program with links and times and venues. 
  • AIFF 2013: One.For.Ten - DNA, The Instant Replay For The Justice System - The highlight of the festival for me so far - One.For. Ten.  Ten short films that involved audience participation in the making and in the showing.  Consists of ten short interviews with people who have been exonerate of capital crimes and released from death row.

  • AIFF2013: On The Air - Tuesday Dec. 3 10 am and Wednesday Dec 4 at 2pm  - Two Alaska Public Radio Network programs - Talk of Alaska and Hometown Alaska will feature guests from the Anchorage International Film Festival and the Indigenous World Film Festival this week.  Information on how to listen (including online) and participate in this post.
