AIFF 2013: One.For.Ten - DNA, The Instant Replay For The Justice System - The highlight of the festival for me so far - One.For. Ten. Ten short films that involved audience participation in the making and in the showing. Consists of ten short interviews with people who have been exonerate of capital crimes and released from death row.
- AIFF 2013: Mt. Rescue and US Everest Climb - One film looks at 1963 first US Everest climb and the other looks at a Teton's mountain rescue in 1967. Quick thoughts right after watching them.
- AIFF 2013: Tales From The Organ Trade - How Is Selling Sex Like Selling A Kidney? - An overview of the issues this documentary raises. I got to see this online before the festival at the invitation of a publicist for the film.
- AIFF 2013: Documentaries in Competition: From Freeze Drying Your Pet And Harlem Blues to Selling Kidneys and Antarctica - A list of the 11 documentaries in competition this year with some trailers, links, and a brief comment.

- Looks Like Anchorage International Film Festival Isn't Going To Meet October 5 Deadline [UPDATED] - I was looking forward to the list of selected films going up so early this year. Turns out the October 5 date was a typo. It should have had a 1 in front of the 5.
