Here's looking down our street this morning at downtown Juneau as I went to this morning's ethics training session.
The wisdom of this kind of stairway is a lot more obvious when it's snowing than in the summer. This means there's an alternative to getting down the hill on an icy sidewalk.

I didn't know you had already left. I called your house yesterday to drop off the book Shannyn has loaned you.
ReplyDeleteGood luck. Rep. Mike Doogan has pre-filed a bill that will force all executive ethics questions to be kept secret, with no change in the bill regarding how the personnel board is constituted. Total disaster.
Such weather conditions would cause the deth of our public transportation. However they have been striking for 5 days and it makes my way to school quite inconvenient.
ReplyDeleteWell, Steve it is time to say a kind of good bye to you, because today I wrote my last English post in my blog.
ReplyDeleteRopi, first, I'm not stopping my blog, so you can still drop by. Second, you have a post today, on January 18, after you said you did your last post. Plus, there is nothing on your blog that says you are ending it. If you do end it, you will be ending what I think is a very unique and interesting voice on the internet. While we probably disagree on many issues, we also recognize that there are issues on which we do have useful ideas to exchange. So, I hope this message is premature. On the other hand, I know the blog takes up a lot of time and you have a lot to do. But I would assume that your blog did help with you 90% score on English writing. Don't disappear. If we show up in Budapest, we'd want to hire a good guide. :)
