LOL in Thai

Instead of LOL on their emails, Thais write 55555.

In Thai, 5 is pronounced "Ha" with a falling tone, as if you were emphatically saying "No!"

  2. In Hungarian Ha means if and once my classmate was writing HAHAHAHAHAHA (laughing) as IFIFIFIFIFIFIF. I needed a few seconds to get it.

  4. 555 - in some Christianist numerology beliefs - is the opposite of 666. As in:

"555 is the number of man
(666 is the number of devil"

555 can also be a Swedish version of LOL. The urban dictionary has a great "555" set of entries.

In some Aquarian belief groups, 555 is the symbol of unconditional, universal love.
