And they are all stars in their areas of special talent, though that might not be what they are studying. But if you find out about that talent and recognize it publicly, they do better in your class too. So teachers won't have the pleasure and opportunity of finding and nurturing the stars among their students. Maybe this doesn't happen all that frequently, and maybe the teacher already knows the stars because they speak out in class, but it would sure be too bad to let excellence slip down the drain unnoticed.kathy in KYnoreply@blogger.com
