On one cut by the edge of the trail, we could look at it from its side at eye level. The plants were young, fresh and not overburdened, so they looked sort of exotic, compared to looking at them from above.<br /><br />When I was a kid, I was told the plant hadn't changed since before the dinosaurs existed.
