Voter turn-out was much higher when the franchise was selective and elected officials knew who they represented -- and that certainly did NOT include the poor or uneducated.<br /><br />Democratic humbug, expanding the franchise! See what it got you! Confused loyalties for our politicians hardly knowing when to do what is right by the better classes or the masses!
